Grubtech and Wobot.ai join forces in the automation and digitization of restaurant & cloud kitchen operations

Two technology companies have announced a strategic partnership: Grubtech, a UAE-based startup specializing in digital commerce for restaurants and cloud kitchens, and Wobot.ai, an India-based AI video analytics firm.

The collaboration merges Grubtech's foodservice expertise with Wobot's computer vision capabilities to create integrated solutions for restaurant operators.

As Mohamed Al Fayed, Grubtech's Co-Founder and CEO, explained: "grubtech provides restaurants...with the first end-to-end management system, automating manual processes."

Partnership Benefits

The partnership addresses modernization needs in the hospitality sector. Grubtech's platform integrates with food aggregators, POS systems, and logistics providers to digitize order workflows and improve operational visibility. This integration reportedly reduces costs and accelerates preparation and delivery timelines.

Wobot.ai Capabilities

Wobot.ai currently serves over 10,000 locations globally using computer vision technology to monitor compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.

According to Adit Chhabra, Wobot's CEO: "Our vision...is to create a seamless workplace optimized to deliver operational excellence."

The companies indicate they're pursuing deployment across the MENA region and expanding into Southeast Asia and Europe, particularly as food safety regulations continue evolving internationally.
